Anglican Rector/ ELCIC Pastor (half-time), The Anglican Diocese of Saskatoon/The ELCIC Synod of Saskatchewan

The Diocese of Saskatoon / ELCIC Synod of Saskatchewan

The Evangelical Lutheran Bishop of Saskatchewan and the Bishop of The Anglican Diocese of Saskatoon seek to appoint a half-time Incumbent to the Parish of PALS (Presbyterian, Anglican, Lutherans in Service) in The ELCIC Synod of Saskatchewan and The Anglican Diocese of Saskatoon. Those who may be sensing a nudge of the Spirit are invited to prayerfully consider inquiring with Bishop Ali Tote and Bishop Chad McCharles to request the parish profile. This invitation is offered in a spirit of discernment—rooted in prayer, attentive listening to Scripture, and openness to God’s calling.

Expressions of interest will be considered as they arrive. Please include:

  1. A Curriculum Vitae.
  2. A written statement of about 500 words outlining why they are being called to explore this opportunity.
  3. The names and contact information for three referees prepared to provide information on the cleric’s pastoral skills, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build community, ministry experience, and sensitivity. If you are an Assistant Curate or graduating postulant for ordination, you should give your Rector/Incumbent, supervising priest/pastor or mentor as a reference.
Those from outside the synod/diocese should confirm that they have their bishop’s permission to explore a possible appointment outside of their own synod/diocese.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a valid criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
