The Archbishop of Algoma is accepting applications from candidates for the position of Part-Time Incumbent (33% ministry) with St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Sturgeon Falls, Ontario.

The Municipality of West Nipissing, of which Sturgeon Falls is a part, has a population of 14,400 and serves as a bedroom community for the diversified cities of North Bay and Sudbury.  It has small town appeal but is in close proximity to bigger centres.

The people of St. Mary Magdalene desire to reach out to their community that shows God’s love for all people.  They are involved in ecumenical ministries and various Deanery, Diocesan, and Anglican Communion initiatives.

They are hoping for an Incumbent who will provide up to 16 hours of ministry weekly.  There is a strong lay support network and they are a warm congregation open to new ideas.
