Executive Summary – St. Aidan’s Anglican Church Parish Profile
The Parish of St. Aidan is a vibrant and vital parish with a long history of missional outreach and community involvement, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba within the Diocese of Rupert’s Land. The Lord has blessed us with a long line of strong, scripturally grounded Incumbents who have faithfully sought to follow His will in the life of this parish. We believe in the infallibility of Scripture, “…handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word.” (Luke 1:2), adhere to the 39 Articles of Religion, and seek to be sacramental, evangelical, and charismatic in our worship.
St. Aidan’s is richly blessed with a strong and broadly talented Leadership Team, an eager congregation, and a deep passion for Jesus. We strive constantly to seek the Lord’s guidance in all we do, and to rely on the Holy Spirit to provide for all our needs. We work to minister to those within and outside our parish, and we look forward to welcoming a new pastor with a long-term vision to share. Our new incumbent will find an adaptable and multi-faceted congregation that is ready to serve God.
We look forward to 2024 with great anticipation, trusting the Lord Jesus will use us and our Incumbent to:
Our Parish Profile will provide you with a better sense of our identity as Children of God.
