St. Laurence Anglican Church in Coquitlam, BC, is seeking a pastoral leader (6 to 8 hours/week) to help build a new Sunday evening worshipping community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a gathering rooted in hospitality, Scripture, open conversation, and prayer.
- Create an intentional space for those whose schedules or life rhythms do not fit traditional Sunday morning patterns, but who seek spiritual depth and connection.
Role Features:
- Bivocational & Flexible: Designed as a focused pastoral role alongside other work or ministry commitments.
- Affirming & Supportive: An open, affirming space for seekers, for those rebuilding faith after seasons of transition, and for anyone drawn to honest questions and developing worship within the Anglican tradition.
- The vision is still forming. The right person will help shape it, in partnership with the Rector.
