Incumbency Opportunity: The Parish of Lewisporte

The Rt. Reverend John Watton is inviting applications for the incumbency of the Parish of Lewisporte. Lewisporte is a three-point parish.

The Parish is located in Central Newfoundland,11 Kilometers from the Trans Canada Highway. Lewisporte is situated on the Coast of Notre Dame Bay. The rectory is located there, next to St. Paul’s Church. The other points are St. Mark’s Norris Arm, and St. Andrews in Glenwood.

This parish has a balance of tradition and openness in relation to music, outreach, liturgy and lay ministry. The laypeople wish to work in partnership with the rector. Clergy are loved and respected, and expectations are clear from the people.
The parishes are looking for a leader who will be an enabler and organizer of lay and pastoral ministries.
