Team Ministry – 2 Full-Time Priests, Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland & Labrador

Notice of Ministry Position (Clergy)
Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland & Labrador Parishes of Parish of the Holy Cross (Norman’s Cove and Area), Parish of the Living Water (Arnold’s Cove and Area), and Parish of the Holy Spirit (Hodge’s Cove and Area), NL Canada.

The Rt. Rev. Samuel Rose is accepting applications for Two Priests for Team Ministry. This is a new ministry model between three independent parishes with multiple communities. The team ministry is cost-shared by the three parishes and is a one-year contractual position with the possibility of renewal. The Parishes of the Holy Cross, Living Water, and Holy Spirit share a joint commitment to this new ministry model and have a history of working together.

• What kind of clergy do we seek:
•  A faithful disciple and servant of Jesus Christ who can lead, be confident in your gifts and work with others in a team setting.
• Good communication skills, sense of humour, collaborative “can do” approach to ministry;
• Enthusiasm for developing lay ministry;
• Comfortable with traditional and innovative styles of worship;
• Keen to develop churches that engage with their community in sharing the Gospel;
• Able to develop relationships through pastoral care and visitation.

The effective start date is 1 May 2025 (negotiable)
