The Parish of St. Francis by the Lakes is seeking a full-time priest. Our parish is located in Lower Sackville, a suburb of Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), with the downtown core of Halifax a short 25-minute drive away.
The majority of parishioners live in the Sackville/Beaver Bank area and the rest come from various locations in the HRM. Our congregation is diverse and inclusive, reflecting a rich tapestry of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

As we look forward to the future, we are a parish in transition. Like many churches we have an aging population and a congregation declining in size. Our focus is on ensuring that St. Francis continues to grow and thrive. We are looking for a rector to walk with us on this journey.
