Position: College Chaplain (full-time for a three-year, renewable term)

The successful candidate will be ordained in the Anglican or Episcopal Church (or other Church in the Anglican Communion) and have at least five years’ pastoral experience. A graduate degree in theology is desireable, but not essential. The primary responsibility of the Chaplain is to cultivate a vibrant community at Wycliffe that includes domestic and international students and their families, faculty, staff, residents, commuters, and distant learners, and to be a pastoral resource for those preparing for leadership in the church. The Chaplain will offer pastoral care for the above groups and will provide daily oversight of the Chapel and supervise the Chapel leadership team. The Chaplain will work alongside Student Services and Student Council, overseeing the ministry of College fellowship groups and coordinating support for international students. The Chaplain will organize and direct the Field Education component of the curriculum throughout the year.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses in the area of Pastoral Theology and Christian Formation for both Anglican and non-Anglican MDiv students.
